White crystal or crystalline powder; Easy to dissolve in water, does not dissolve in ethanol, ether and chloroform; sweet taste.
Use: D-Threonine is an organic chiral source, mainly used in chiral drug, chiral additive, chiral auxiliary or used as chiral source of organic synthesis of chiral drugs. As one kind of organic acid it is very essential to the asymmetric synthesis of chiral drugs, now, it is mainly used in antibiotic, and protective agent of synthesis.
