White crystal or crystalline powder. Smell-less, melting point: ~245?(decompound). No optical rotation. The chemical properties are stable. Soluble in water(20.1g/100ml,25?), the aqueous solution has sweet taste and it is tasty and refreshing. Hard to dissolve in methanol, ethanol(0.07g/100ml,25?), acetone, etc.
Use: Nutrient supplement, mainly used for seasoning. In the pharmacy.
